Omega Fluor Imaging System is an entry Level that comes standard with the basic components and exceptional safety features for DNA and protein gel imaging. Basic gel doc Systems

Gel Imaging systems for entry-level and basic application use are developed . These systems are ideal for DNA/RNA fluorescence and 1D protein imaging. These systems are at the budget end of the market but deliver with no compromise on specification or performance. Basic systems are predominantly manually driven but when used with GeneSys image capture software ensure that the systems are easy to use.

Syngene, with its imaging expertise, has pioneered the development of automated gel documentation systems since 1985 to bring you world leading gel imaging systems. Within these ranges you’ll find the perfect gel doc system to suit your budget and the level of sophistication your fluorescence imaging demands.

Rapid DNA, RNA and protein gel imaging

You can use a G:BOX, PXi, InGenius, U:Genius or DigiGenius to rapidly visualise Ethidium bromide, GelRed™, GelGreen™ and dyes from the SYBR® range. You can perform accurate fluorescent protein gel imaging using SYPRO® and ProQ® dyes.

To visualise colourless spots or bands on a TLC (Thin Layer Chromatography) plate, you can either use a plate with a fluorescent indicator or view it under UV light or you can spray reagents onto the samples to colour them so that spots are visible in white light.

Using its extensive imaging expertise, Syngene has developed the G:BOX systems for automated imaging of TLC plates.

Advanced gel doc Systems

The advanced gel doc systems from Syngene cover a wider range of applications. These include DNA, 1D and 2D gels, chemiluminescence, coloured fluorescence and multi-plex applications. All systems feature high performing cameras with exceptional sensitivity thus ensuring high quality imaging. All systems are fully automated and application driven to enable the user to obtain quantitative results quickly and easily.

For your complex fluorescence imaging and chemiluminescence imaging, Syngene has designed the high performance G:BOX range. The G:BOX can be configured with a choice of high resolution cooled 16-bit cameras, as well as different lighting and filter options making it excellent for your rapid DNA/RNA imaging, as well as chemiluminescence Imaging.

Syngene, with its imaging expertise, has pioneered the development of chemiluminescent imaging systems with its GeneGnome product, designed specifically for easy set-up. The systems have a cooled CCD camera which reduces background noise that can occur electronically within the camera when using long exposure time. However, with Syngene’s advanced technology, even the most complex chemiluminescence imaging is possible.

Using a 2D electrophoresis gel in proteomics applications provides you with much higher levels of resolution than a 1D gel and often results in thousands of protein spots for you to analyse from a single 2D gel.

Syngene, with its imaging expertise, has developed high specification systems and software for challenging 2D electrophoresis gel imaging. Using either a G:BOX Chemi XT4, G:BOX Chemi XX6 or a G:BOX Chemi XX9 they can be fitted with correct filters and lighting to provide separation of high spot densities, guaranteeing you unrivalled 2D gel imaging accuracy.
