Description
- In-vitro diagnostic test for the detection of RNA from SARS-CoV-2
- Based on the one-step RT-LAMP technology
- Samples with an RNA concentration of approx. 20,000 copies per ml can be reliably detected with a sensitivity of 95% and a specificity of 99%

Test evaluation
- A real-time PCR device should be used to detect the RT-LAMP reaction
- After amplification, a visual check of the color change in the reaction tubes must be performed
- The drop of the pH value is due to the large amount of DNA produced
- The amplification takes 30 min at 63 ° C.
- The analysis of the melting curve takes between 5 and 13 minutes
